About Elizabeth

Elizabeth painted as soon as she could write!  Her paintings, sketches, craft work and photographs attracted much early attention, but she chose not to pursue a formal career in art (or music), in order to devote herself to her husband, home and three sons.  It is only in recent years that Elizabeth has had time to give to her passion for painting and art.  She now focuses on watercolour - painting flowers and landscapes.  Her detailed paintings of flowers particularly demonstrate her lightness of touch and vibrant transparency of colour.

Until 2009, Elizabeth sold none of her original work, preferring to sell limited edition Giclée prints – often at her own garden open days - with the proceeds going to charities.  However, following collectors’ demands from recent exhibitions, she has started selling her original paintings, as well as a number of pencil and ink sketches, mostly of children – a new miniature style and medium that she is developing.
